About the Event

Come and make your very own viking leather pouch outdoors in the fresh air set within a private woodland.
Paul Dore will be our special guest at Ower Wood Grove.
Paul will be walking you through the process of putting together a small viking style pouch made from leather that has a belt loop attached. Paul is a great and very patient teacher, he will be travelling down to us all the way from Hull!! You will get to have your very own pouch made by you!
His workshop will take place on Saturday 7th August 2021 @ 9.00 until 17.00
Even if you have had no previous experience in leather work Paul will show you various stitching techniques for leather making. All the pouches come pre cut but the colour choice is entirely yours with what is available.
This workshop was run a couple of years ago and sold out very quickly, its a great craft to enjoy and a great and very versatile piece of kit to sling off your trouser belt.
Due to the necessity for a certain amount of physical strength required to work leather, the minimum age of attendees will be set to 14 years old.
Please bring a pack lunch with you, refreshments will be provided.
Weekend camping will also be available, to be booked seperately, please see the Wessex Wilderness Skills website or FaceBook page for these details.
